“Learning to Live Together” youth competition deadline to Monday 5 August 2013

UNESCO, 29 July 2013 - Youth are invited to submit photos, drawings, paintings or any image that captures actions, ideas or initiatives which promote “learning to live together”.

Submissions must include a caption or description in any language. Submissions may also include brief essays or stories to explain in further detail the context behind the image.

Participants must be between the ages of 15-35 and reside in the Asia-Pacific region.

Winner/s will be selected from the competition based on:
• Clear connection of image to the theme
of “learning to live together”
• Creativity and originality
• Style and presentation of submission

UNESCO Bangkok will coordinate a public exhibition to display a collection of images from the Asia-Pacific depicting “learning to live together”.

One winner of the competition will receive a tablet computer, other
(runner up) winners will be publicly acknowledged and the story behind their image(s) shared at this exhibition. Their submissions will also feature
in UNESCO media.
