Education figures may have remained stable due to high awareness amongst Cambodians of the importance of eduction, according to ILO chief technical adviser in Phnom Penh M.P. Joseph.  However, agencies must remain vigilant as the crisis may still have an impact on schooling.

Nutrition levels are more difficult to analyse.  The Cambodian Demographic Health Survey will be compiled next year, which may allow better assessment of the impact of the crisis.
